>Brian wanted to be the centre of attention, but he wasn't. One of Brian's agonies and downfalls was that he wanted to be the leader of the band and unfortunately, he wasn't talented enough to be the leader.
Not true... Thank goodness he was talented enough to get the band started and act as their manager in the early days, he was the reason the Stones first made it big, as everybody who knew the band back then tells stories of this. Mick could have cared less back then and didn't expect the band to go anywhere. Keef was just too young and didn't believe it would happen either, he just hoped and listened to Brian. Yes, it was BJ who pressed them all to be their best and believe in themselves, he was the one who found the right people who would help them, and that was why they made it. So IMO, he had the talent to lead, he just didn't have the stamina to keep leading year after year.
