Can't say I ever had a meat hangover. I recently purchase a quarter beef from a rancher here in Montana, damn good stuff. I think I could eat one of those steaks every night and not get sick.
Nothing against vegetarians, I just choose to filter my vegetables through a cow first....
Seriously, though, it may have something to do with where you get the beef. Grass fed or grain fed from a ranch, without all the antibiotics, is WAY better tasting and better for you. I grow a lot of my own vegetables during the summer, too, so I don't have all the preservatives in those.
