If you get a chance, you should check out the documentary: King Corn (2007)

Very interesting. You might not want to eat meat again or atleast limit your intake to only organic meats. I saw it on PBS a few weeks ago and I am now trying to buy more of my food from places like Whole Foods.

Reading through your (Keno) post, I am not sure why you wouldn't have the same problem with ground beef as well.
