Hot Stuff (live)

I have always felt like Hot Stuff was abit of a bore. However I recently added some live tunes to my stones playlist on the Ipod and was just abour to skip over Hot Stuff from love You live and decided to give it a listen. I forgort how much better it is Live than the Studio verison. It sounds so much better with a sped up Phatter live sound. Has a nice air to it. The studio verison is quite thin and contrived but the Live version is a great jam. Woody plays some really great licks and in a way those licks are what makes the song so cool. Jsut sitting back hearing him lick it up on that one is great. Love the sound of his guitar, the perfect amount of distortion. What guitar is he playing on that tour for Hot Stuff? Is it the Zemaitis guitar, Silver one he playd alot on the '81 tour. I love that sound I whish he would pull thatr guitar out again and ditch the straight for most songs. I also love the soun dof that guitar on Waiting on A Freind form Lets Spend teh Nigh tTogether, he plasy some great licks through out and it sounds fantastic. I lobby Woody plays with gibbson and Zemaitis and leave the Fenders to Keith.
