I'm glad I'm not the only one to love the words to Cops And Robbers (I love the whole song as a matter of fact, 3:50 minutes of pure delight), but according to Keno, they were written by one Kent L. Harris. Are we counting covers? LOL, isn't this question difficult enough to answer already?

I thought some more about the non-Stones song. I don't know if this one is my favourite lyrics-wise, but how about "Working Class Hero", on John Lennon's primal scream album (possibly the darkest album ever recorded)? A truly great song, lyrics and all.
