Hey, I'm outside on my patio with my laptop now. So you can do both, be outside and compute!
I am 46 and still spend a lot of time online, but also I've never been more physically active. I love fixing up the yard and then sitting back seeing and hearing the birds and just checking out the prettiness. I live in humid, rainy, Mobile, Al. I also exercise with weights and run. Outside I've been running four straight miles. And I work - nights full time.
I am sure there are plenty of people who spend unhealthy amounts of time online, but these probably are our socially inept types. The bigger problem are kids spending too much time playing computer games.
