Gawd, your questions are not getting any easier, TM.
Can we pick part of a song? I simply love the third verse to Ruby Tuesday. Are you looking for something profound? Cuz on the light-hearted side, I really dig The Under Assistant West Coast Promotion Man (especially the spoken part at the end). I seem to recall (from Bill Wyman's book perhaps?) that it is about one self-important guy from their first US tour.
On the bittersweet side, it's hard to top No Expectations.
I'm sure I'll think of lots of others as soon as I hit that "Post Message" button.
Non Stones song. That's even tougher. Probably something by John Lennon. Dylan would be a serious contender too, but I'm not overly fond of him. I will have to get back to you as well...
