It's like I said to him, if I'm no longer taking reviews at the review page for any one LP because of space limits, then it is okay to review the LP here, and for LIB, that is the case, and it is okay. Thing is, you all saw my last reply in this thread, and there are still several albums that need reviews on the Album Review Page. I think Jimmy send in one after I asked him to for that page, but that's it.
I should note that it is true, that since keno.org has its own server now, that space isn't the issue it once was here. Perhaps you might have noticed that the Gasx3 board is now cleaned usually only once a month, and a lot more posts are being kept up now... its gone from about me having to delete 70% of all old posts from each month in the past, to maybe about 25% of them now. But I still will limit reviews at the Review Page since once you have about 15 or so long reviews up for any one album, people tend to stop reading the page after that.
But in case any of you might wonder how many people would read any one review that you might write... well it works two different ways in posting a review here versus at the review page. Posting it here at Gasland means a few thousand will read your post in a few days - after that, especially after the month is over, only a few more will read your review here ever again, since it will get lost in the archives (another reason why LIL was stated by Undercover). At the review page, it might only be read by, lets say 25 a day, depending on the LP reviewed. But, it will always be read by about that many, every day of the year. So a review written say back in 1998, is still not only being read by 25 or so lurkers a day now, it has been read by more than 70,000 lurkers total since it was first published online, far more than what is read here - over time. So yes, if you write a review, in time it will be read by many - but only if you have it published at the Review Page.
