RE: RE: Jimmy's Review: Let it Bleed

Let it Bleed was my favorite stones album for a long time. It has so many great moments. However it has started to feel a little stale to me lately. Songs like Gimmie Selter and Live With Me are unparralled, but the album has a whole is just not as good as it used to be for me. I find the studio version of Midight Rambler to be inferior to the live verson and I almost never have a desire to listen to it otherwise. The begninng of You Can't Alwasy Get What You Want is now become annoying to me, and the The flow of the album is starting to seem wrong. I love the albumon't get me wrong I am just statin gthe reasons why it is no longer me favorite stones album. Really it is not even the best album of 1969, Led Zepeelin II is. My favorite stones album is Exile On Main St. it is perfection in too many ways to count. As far as cohesive unit and a musical masterpiece goes I'll give that on to Beggers Banquet.

It's Only Rock'n Roll is even a better album in some way than Let It Bleed, to me anyways.
