It was suggested for a few years that a page like this be built, since photos are not usually shown on the Gasx3 board and many fans wanted to know what some of their fellow Gaslanders looked like. So this page was put together in August, 2004, and many of these photos were taken at that time, but we have added on to this page since then!... Also, some of the Gassers have also updated their photos. If you last sent one in, say back in '04, and you want to also update yours, then just let me know, thanks.

Our old map had to be taken down. Several Gassers only had their photos up on that map - and not here, so, if you were one of those who did, please send me the missing photo and I will place it back on this page for you, since the map isn't coming back and the company that created the map has your photo and I cannot get at it, sorry.

To those of you Gassers who haven't yet sent in a photo, please do, and stop being so shy! Gasland is one big family, feel free to send in photos of anyone or anything that is Gasland related. All new photos should be emailed to keno@fairpoint.net with "Gasland Photos" written in the email's subject header......... and a special "thanks" to those of you who have sent in your photos!

Yes, I know, on top it reads that this is a Photo Page, yet there are no photos anywhere on this page! Well, to save server space, this is really just the Home Page of the Photo Page and I'm doing without thumbnails (you know, the tiny little photos you click on to see the larger photos) that would normally be seen on this page. So you will see instead the person's handle (which is also the photo's link), a short description of the Gasser, and then you can click on the link to view the Gasser's photo.

The first patch of photos will be of Gaslanders, then followed by the Gassy family of related photos. Everything written here is by me (Keno), unless noted.

Below are photos sent in by Gassers. I'll start off with the newest ones first.....

His real name is Sean Cochran and he lives in the USA. He first posted at Gasland using the handle RollingZeppelin87. Then he stopped posting and lurked for awhile, until he returned with his new handle. Sean's been a Stones fan since he was 16, when a friend of his was blasting "Gimmie Shelter" in his car one day after school, and he never looked back. He still to this day thinks that is the best rock song of all time. His other favorite Stones songs are: Jumpin Jack Flash, Rocks Off, Dead Flowers and Monkey Man.. He likes to spin Sticky Fingers when chillin, Some Girls when he's pumped up and rockin, and Exile when he's drunk. He loves boots too, his favorite is a tie between Brussels and Handsome Girls. Sean also likes to play guitar in open g and he digs playing several Keef riffs. His very first Stones concert was January 20, 2006 at the MSG.

Citadel, who's real name is Matt, was born in Hartford, Connecticut in 1976. He grew up in the north-central Connecticut town of Suffield. Citadel became a Stones fan by chance after having seen a special about the Ed Sullivan Show when the Stones' performance of "Let's Spend the Night Together" was aired. After this experience, his friend introduced him to several vinyl records from the mid to late 60s of the band. He became a fan of the Stones at the age of 15, and after several years, he truly began to appreciate the "Big Four" albums, which hitherto fore, he most loved the 1966-1968 timeframe of the band. Now days his favorite era of the Stones is 1968 to 1972, but since Exile on Main Street was released, he also loves Goats Head Soup, Black and Blue, Tattoo You, and Voodoo Lounge. He is additionally a fan of A Bigger Bang. Citadel believes that Mick Taylor was a guitar virtuoso in the Stones, but that Ronnie Wood has "earned his stripes" in the band and has more than paid his dues over the years.

Real name: James Lynn. He is from Wallingford Ct., USA. The MEZ has been a Stones fan since watching the 1981 tour via Lets Spend the Night Together on video. He has been on the site since 2002. His favorite Stone is Keith Richards and his favorite tunes are "Tumbling Dice", "Dead Flowers", and "All Down The Line". Mez is very grateful to those fellow Gassers who have helped him out in growing his boot collection. The MEZ loves Gasland!

His real name is Brian Keith Rocco, and yes, his dad is a huge Stones fan and named him after Brian Jones and Keith Richards! He is married and lives on Long Island, NY, USA, and has a son named Jagger - like his dad, he kept the family tradition going, naming his son after a Stone!.... He joined Gasland in 2005. Brian Keith has seen the Stones between 10 to 15 times; among his favorite songs are JJF, PIB and "Midnight Rambler" and his two favorite Stones LPs are Let It Bleed and Sticky Fingers....... Tatterings, otherwise known as Kassandra, is the April Fool born on the first of that month in 1990. She hails from Florida, USA, where she has promoted Stones loving since 2003, and Stones "cramming down the throat" since 2006 when she saw the Boys at the Las Vegas MGM show. She can't possibly pick a favorite album - since the entire discography is nothing short of amazing to her - but she does have an affinity for the country/blues tunes and the 80's sound. She opted out of buying the traditional type of high school class ring and instead obtained a replica of Keef's infamous skull ring (which certainly was a hit at the school ring ceremony)!

His first name is Jason and he lives in Southern Ontario, Canada, and he is a married man. Jason has been a Stones fan since 1988, back when he was turned on to the Boys by a friend who rented the movie Lets Spend the Night Together. That movie epitomized rock'n roll for him and his love for the Stones began. He loved the party atmosphere about it, the music being reckless and sloppy, with style, grit and conviction. So where at that time everyone else his age was excited about Motley Crue's album Dr. Feelgood, he was excited about Steel Wheels. He cannot pick out one favorite Stones LP since they have more great albums than any other rock band. Jason has seen the Stones a total of 6 times. First show was in 1994 during the Voodoo Lounge tour.

His first name is really Keith and he lives in Delaware, USA. He first posted in the Land of Gas in 2002, then dropped out of sight after the Lick's tour was over, but came back for good just before ABB was released. Keith first saw the Stones at the opening show of the '81 tour at JFK Stadium in Philadelphia on 9/25. He digs all eras of The Stones, but his favorite is the Mick Taylor years; specifically the '69 US Tour.

Since he was about 15 years old, people would tell him that he looked like Mick Jagger. He is now the lead singer of the band The Glimmer Twins, a Stones tribute band and yes, he plays the part of Mick, and the photo he has supplied us is him at a show in November of 2007, back when he was the lead singer for another Stones tribute band, Hot Rocks.

Her real name is Amanda. She was born in Georgia, USA, in April 1990, but moved to Tennessee and lives there now. Jig-Saw is going to attend the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Her favorite songs are 'Let it Bleed', 'Bitch', and of course, 'Jig-Saw Puzzle'. She, like so many other Gassers, at first lurked at Gasland (in her case, for a year) before she actually joined. Though she has heard the Stones music all of her life, she never really paid them any attention. The Boys were, in her words: "crammed down her throat" by a friend in the summer of '06 and she hasn't looked back since.

His real name is Brian. Born 3/21/86. He got into the Stones early in high school. First Stones album: Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out! followed immediately by Beggars Banquet and Let It Bleed. He's a student at the University of South Florida. Go Bulls! After graduating, he's looking to be a high school teacher. Lonesome Schoolboy loves to collect music, read about it, talk about it, play it, and watch it live. He also have a pretty strong interest in zoology, too.

His real name is Richard Berger. He was born in in 1962 and lives today in Mobile, Ala., USA. For the last 25 years the Rolling Stones have been his favorite band, and he loves to hangout at the land of Gas.

Real name: Lou Sherwood DOB: March 3 1959, so he's one of the real geezers here! Fave Stone: He loves 'em all, but has a particular fondness for his fellow historian, Bill! Our professor lurked on the board from the first day, but finally started posting perhaps a year later. His future brother-in-law gave him his barely used copy of SF for his 14th birthday and he's been hooked ever since! He plays and digs every album up to VL - even Dirty Work! Our professor works as a school security person, and has umpired softball for the last 20 years. Besides the Stones, he also obsess over The Marx Brothers,
baseball, trains (especially the NYC Subway System), Star Trek, Jeopardy! (he even audition for the show once) and more recently, Las Vegas.

Real name: Karl; born Feb. 1956; is retired; Resides in: Columbia Mo,USA. Undercover's favorite Stones albums are Emotional Rescue, Undercover and Dirty Work. Almost hard to believe those are his favotite LPs. when you think of how much he digs Brian, who, if you belittle at the board, he will be on your case! He has amazed his friends by maintaining the same enthusiasm for the Stones for 35 years. He got turned onto the Stones on a fateful day in 71 when he first heard “Bitch” in a teen hangout and never looked back.

His real name is Les Norman, and he's from Louisville, KY, USA. His birthday is Nov 12 (in 1958) and he's been married to Sheila for the last 18 years. His favorite Stones album is Sticky Fingers, fav songs are "Fingerprint File" CYHMK, "Moonlight Mile", "Jivin Sister Fanny", and "Happy". Burnout shows up on The Gassers Banquet CD, singing and playing "Sister Morphine". Besides Classic Rock music, he also digs all the major sports and being from Kentucky that includes horse racing - he loves horses and in this photo he is seen with his horse OB's Flying Deuce; plus he confesses to me that this photo is about 15 years old, but that's the way he still looks today - other than, and I'll quote him - "I'm just a bit fatter now".

Real Name: Janet; Born: March, 1960; Resides: in the heart of Cajun Country - Ville Platte, Louisiana, USA. JivingSisterJan has been married to the same guy for over 29 years, yet she has loved Mick Jagger longer (but not as much as her family - especially her grandkids!). Her favorite Stones LPs are Let It Bleed and Goats Head Soup and her favorite songs are "Gimme Shelter" and "Jiving Sister Fanny". She has been a fan since 1969 and her first Stones concert was June 1, 1975, she hasn't missed a tour since. Important note: every T-shirt she owns has a tongue on it! Plus, don't be fooled by the photo, as Jan likes to proudly point out that she has now quit smoking - right on SisterJan - no jive!

Her real name is Robin, she's married, and lives in Lancaster, PA, USA. Her birthday is September 12, 1970. Robin is an Nuclear Medicine Technologist (but she assures me that she doesn't glow in the dark!). She first posted in the Land of Gas in 2006, although she has lurked since early '05. Her favorite Stones LPs are a toss up between Exile and Sticky Fingers, and her favorite songs are "Loving Cup", "Stray Cat Blues", "Live With Me", "Bitch", and "Midnight Rambler". Among her hobbies are listening to, trading, and collecting Rolling Stones' bootlegs.

His real name is Bryan Hildreth.... Born 1964, Camden, NJ, USA. His earliest and first musical memory is dancing and singing to "Under My Thumb" as a small child. Time only made him a bigger fan. Make Me Run has seen the Stones twice in Philly at Vets Stadium and also 4th row for Keith's (solo) tour at the Beacon, NYC. Favorite songs include: "Brown Sugar", "Sympathy For The Devil" and "Before They Make Me Run"...

Real name: Andre Du Toit....Home: Cape Town. South Africa...Born: 22 August 1990..... He found Gasland in early 2004 and started posting about a year later. His favorite album: Exile. A few (but not all) of his favorite songs are: JJF, Rocks Off, CYHMK, Rambler and Moonlight Mile. He also really digs all of the Blues and most Blues/Rock artists.

His first name is really Mark and he was born 1978 in Chatham, Ontario, Canada. He's been a Stones fan since 2000, and now claims that "Rock n roll is my whole life!". Pretty Beat Up got him into the Stones, back in Wallaceburg, Ontario Canada. He now lives in Kingston, Ontario. Favorite Stones Albums are: Bridges to Babylon, Exile and A Bigger Bang. Favorite Stones Songs: "Saint of Me", "You Got Me Rocking", "Ventalitor Blues", "Out of Control", and "Gimme Shelter". First and only Stones show thus far was the Sars Concert held in 2003.

Real name is Carrie, she was born Feb. 1971, in Elliot Lake, Ontario, Canada. Sweet Virginia now live outside of Barrie, Ont., Can. Her favorite song is "100 Years Ago", favorite album is Exile. She has been a fan since the age of 10, and she has seen them twice for the Steel Wheels tour, once for Bridges to Babylon, and also at the SARS concert (all shows in Toronto).

Her real name is Nicky Schrama and she lives in Australia, born on the 22 of October in 1989. Nixy has been a Stones fan practically all of her life, with her favorite album being Exile, favorite songs are "Brown Sugar", "Ventilator Blues", "Start Me Up" and "Rocks Off".

Real name is Andre' van Tonder, and he was born on the 8th of May 1975, and grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa. He is a married man and has been a Stones fan since around 1989. He's also a huge fan of Elvis and the Beatles. Favorite Stones album is Exile, song "Jumpin Jack Flash". StoNE first started to post at Gasx3 two years ago. First Stones show was in '95 in South Africa. "I went to church about 6 times in my life, and to one Stones concert..the Stones concert changed my life."

His real name is Tomasz Sniedziewski and he lives in Warsaw, Poland. Born March 7, 1980. Yet another Gasser who holds a master degree in law, specializing in international trade law and is also trained in Japanese civil law. He lives from time to time in Japan. Found Gasland sometime around the spring of 2004. His favorite Stones songs are "Monkey Man", "Stray Cat Blues" and "Brown Sugar". First saw the Stones play live on the B2B tour in 1998 in Poland.

His first name is Ryan. He was born 10/25/90 and lives in Macomb, Michigan, USA. His first Stones show was February 22nd, 1999 at the Palace of Auburn Hills. A few of deuce's favorite songs are 'Brown Sugar', 'Rocks Off', and 'She's So Cold', with his favorite album being Exile on Main Street. He first posted at Gasland in November 2004. Favorite Stone: Mick Jagger, and he is currently trying to find a band to sing for. Maybe he'll be the next Mick some day, with a bit of luck!

Real Name: Kurt Thatcher and he is 14, born 12-25-1990, and lives in New Jersey, USA. He is entering high school this fall and looking for some PT work right now.. He's been a Gasser since early 2005, but discovered the site in 2004, just never visited the message board till this year. Photo Updated in Oct 2006 - Like his fellow Gasser JackFalsh, Mr Tongue has updated his photo for the same reason Flash did.

Real Name: Bart Nordegraaf. He lives in Schiedam, Holland. Born September 19, 1983. Bart has been visiting Gasland for a little over a year now. He don't have one specific favorite Stones album, but he spins Exile and Goats Head Soup the most. He also digs the live albums, too.

Real name: Dan Diener, Dano lives in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, USA. He's married to Vicki and has two kids, Danny, Jr. 15 and Dylan who is 11. Dano has been a Gasser since 2002 and I would say he is as much a Stones freak (AKA Stone's Junkie), as any fan can be. He owns 50 Stones T-shirts, and has lots of other Stones stuff. The photo is of him and Mrs. Dano.

Real name: Daniel. Mr. Jimmy lives in Australia. He first visited the land of Gas back in mid 2000. First Stones show: April 1st, 1995, at Sydney Cricket Ground. Mr. Jimmy is one of our younger Gassers, I do think it's a Gas that we have many kids under 21 who love the Stones and post with us.

Real name: Jeremy Winograd. Jack Flash lives in NYC, USA, and he is at this time our youngest Gasser. In fact, from his posts, you would never know that he is only 13 years old, he seems to have the knowledge of that of a much older fan, and writes in a mature matter, too. He started to post in Gasland at age 12 in early 2004......... Photo Updated in Oct 2006 - Mr. Flash has sent in a new photo of himself which replaces the one that was first up here, since 2 to 3 years does make one's appearance change big time when you go from your early teens to your mid-teens; yes, he does look a bit older now - which for somebody of his age anyway, is a cool thing to say!

Real Name:Dave. He lives in Franklinville, NY, USA. He's married with three children, ages 24, 21,16 and been a teacher for 30 yrs.; He's a very late Stones bloomer, grew up digging the Beatles, not the Stones, didn't fall in love with the band till he hit his 40s, but he a Junkie for 'em now!

Real name: Stacy, he lives in Middleburg Florida, USA. He is married to Jessica and has two sons. EmoRescu reads Gasx3 everyday, he's more a lurker than a poster, which is what most who read Gasland are.

Real name: Benjamin Richards Snyder, of Sandusky, Ohio, USA. Born 2/27/85. First Stones show: Nationwide Arena in Columbus, OH. Ben writes: I first heard Satisfaction on the radio when I was 4 and have been hooked ever since. I first started posting on the Gasx3 board around late 1999. I first picked up the guitar in June of 2001, taught myself, the great Keith Richards taught me many techniques through some of the greatest albums ever made. I then started playing Mick Taylor's parts off 'Get Yer Ya Ya's.....' . Richards started me out, Mick Taylor rounded me out.

Real name:Andrew and he lives in New Zealand. First started to post at Gasland in 2003.

Real name:Crystal, she lives in Denver, Co, USA. Crystal is single, has a cat. She has been a Gasser since January of 1999, her first Stones concert was in 1994, but she saw Keith live in '93, and has visited most of the Stones landmarks in the UK.

Real name is Andreas Lundstedt, he's 17 years old, lives in Kungsbacka in Sweden.He started to post at Gasx3 in February of 2004. His favorite album is Exile on Main Street and his favorite song is "Sympathy For The Devil"

Real name is Craig W. Statbuck lives in Minneapolis, MN, USA, where he is a teacher, married, and has a son. First Stones show: Nov. 1989, Gasland arrival date: July, 2002. Statbuck is the board clown, and we all thank him for that! This photo is of him (on the left) with his friend Adam Sandler, another funny guy.

Real name is Sara. She is single and lives in Mason City, Iowa,USA, first saw the Stones on January 21, 2003 in Chicago. Her favorite song is "Rocks Off", and although she claims now that her favorite Stone is Ronnie, we all know better, it's really Bill! She is holding one of Keef's guitars in this photo, taken at the Hard Rock Cafe in Chicago.

Real first name is Thijs, from: Hilversum, The Netherlands. Gasser since summer of 2003, lurker since '02. First Stones show was on May 21, 1990.

Real name is Keylin, she's single and lives with her cat Boo in Toronto, Canada. First Stones show was July 30, 2003 (the SARS concert). First posted in Gasland in 2004.

Real Name: Chris Beasley from Denver, Co, USA. Mr. Bombay has been posting and lurking at Gasx3 since late 2002. This photo was shot in Mexico as he stood in front of Keef and many other famous rockers.

Real Name:Kami from Illinois, USA. She is married and has two sons. Kami has been at the board since 2002. This is a photo of her and son Connor.

Real name is Paul, and he lives in San Francisco, CA, USA. He is married and has a son and a daughter. Favorite album: Exile On Main St. Favorite song: "Gimme Shelter" Favorite Stone: Keith. This photo is of Pdog with wife Liz and son Tyler.

Real Name: Zack He's married with two daughters and a son. Originally from Easton, MD, USA, he now lives on the island of Sri Lanka and is a journalist. His wife works for the UN and they have also lived in Cambodia, Burkina Faso and Mali. He saw his first Stones show in 1981, but has missed every tour from Bridges forward on account of being in the wrong hemisphere. He has been a Gasser since 2001.Shown in this photo suffering the hardships of African life fishing off the coast of Senegal with his daughters in 2003.

LoveYouLive's real name is Jeff, he's single and lives in New Jersey, USA. He first posted in Gasland in February 1999 as "Vincent Whirlwind", then after a few months he became a lurker for awhile, and returned for good in May 2002 as LoveYouLive. LYL's favorite song is "Honky Tonk Woman", his first Stones' concert was Sept 25, 1981 at JFK Stadium in Philadelphia. He is shown in this photo on the left, with fellow Gasser......

.......Pluto - who's real name is Alex, lives in the UK. His favorite track is "Honky Tonk Woman", favorite album Let It Bleed, and his first Stones concert was in March, 1971.

Stafan is his real name, he was born in 1985, in the town of Bollnäs, Sweden. Started playing the violin at the age of 7. Picked up the guitar at age 13, and now plays both instruments, as well as other types of fiddles and guitars. He became a Gasser in 1999. Favorite Stones' are Brian Jones and Mick Taylor, he has several favorite Stones songs, but digs the stuff from 1965 - '72 the most.

A Gasser since 2003, SheRat apologizes for ever being hasty in her accusations or bitchy for no good reason. SheRat is a proud member of the Exile Mafia. It is her belief that if locking yourself in a room with a couple of bottles of whiskey and Exile won't convert you, locking yourself in a room with a couple of bottles of whiskey, Exile AND SheRat will. Her favorite Stones song right now is "Casino Boogie". Here's her band's website, where you can learn a few interesting things about her, like her real name, etc.

Real Name: Rick, His homebase is Cleveland, OH, USA. He's been married to Vicky for 22 year and they got two kids, Chris and Scott. His first Stones show was in 1989, in Cleveland. His Religion: Exile On Main St.Gasser since:1956. Turnons: Baseball bats wrapped in barbed wire, Pony Rides Turnoffs: Puppies, kittens, Rednecks, Classic Rock in general, Led Zeppelin and the Eagles in particular. Hobbies: The Rolling Stones!...and NEW stuff to listen to! Mr Man is shown here sitting next to Mr Riffhard while in his lap sits the true love of his life.

His real first name is Antoni and he lives in Canada, married with one child. He was actually the first Gasser to send in his photo for this page, but it was placed into a forgotten folder on my computer and only just found.

AKA: Sean M. McAteer, dob 6-19-64, lives in Rhode Island, USA, married for 15+ years with 4 kids. He's been to a dozen or so Stones shows dating back to Hartford in November '82....Sean first remembers hearing the Stones on the car radio - "Satisfaction", while driving home from the beach as a little kid with his Mom

Real name is Tod Armstrong. He's 45 and lives in No. California, USA - works in SF. Married for 22 years amd has 3 kids - 19, 17, 15. First Stones show - October14, 1981 in Seattle.

Real name: Lawrence Taylor. Gasser since Fall 2002. Lives in Portland, Oregon. Lawyer. Stones fan since first Ed Sullivan appearance in 1965. First Stones show 1989, every US tour since. Had tix to MSG show in 1975 but couldn't make it to NYC. Married to Desiree/separated (for now). Pictured in natural habitat (Oregon Country Fair) with daughters Zoe (pink fairy), 7, and Dharma (purple fairy), 6.

His real name is Alex M.. He lives in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada and, contrary to popular belief is not a "hillbilly." Alex is a grade 12 student and will be in first year university for the 2005/06 school year. He has been listening to the Stones for as long as he can remember. He also has his private pilot's license and glider pilot's licesne. The photo is of him in a Scheizer 2-33A glider just before takeoff, fall 2004.

I left myself for last. My real name is Lew Menechino, Keno has been my nickname since I was a small kid. I was born in Brooklyn, NY, USA, but I've been living in the Colorado Rocky Mountains for the last 30 years. I became a Stones freak the first day NYC radio played their music. This photo taken of me with my grandson Alex, in July of 2004.

Held the day before the Stone's Denver show, February 2, 1999. The first real cyber-Stones party I can recall. Back row (Left to right):Dude one*, Kalistongue (known then as Ladybear), Keno, Jaxx, Marylyn. Front Row: Dude two*, Scott, Jaxx's friend, Dan the tapper. *Sorry, but I can't recall the two dude's names, other than one was named Scott (as we had two Scott's there that nite). I do remember that they were in Denver for the show and they worked for the Stones. I also can't recall Jaxx's friend's name, either.
